For years, I struggled with weight and body-image issues. I tried numerous diets and spent countless hours wishing and working to be skinny. After years of struggling to lose weight and keep it off, motherhood finally gave me the motivation to ditch the fad “diets” and develop a healthy, fit lifestyle I love.
Throughout my journey, I’ve learned a lot about weight loss and lifestyle change. I started this blog to share the tips and tools I use to eat, move and live a life I love while managing marriage and motherhood. I’m passionate about helping women – especially moms – reach their health and fitness goals too. I love helping moms realize they can reach their fitness goals while eating and moving in ways they enjoy. There’s nothing I love more than empowering a friend to feel strong, confident and more beautiful.
Meet My Family
In 2010 I married the love of my life, Daniel, and we’ve been living, loving and learning ever since. He’s my biggest supporter and has loved me through my insecurities and every crazy idea I’ve had since we met. Daniel is the ultimate optimist and almost always sees the glass as half full. His faith in God and love of family is what made me fall in love with him in the first place and has allowed our love to grow through all of life’s many adventures.
I always knew Daniel would make a great a father and two years into our marriage he proved it when we welcomed our princess. Just as we were settling into life as new parents we were surprised and excited to learn we had a new little one on the way. Just after the Princess’ first birthday, we welcomed our prince.
Our family feels complete. We are the Fergie Four.
I know without a doubt God is using marriage and motherhood to grow me into the strong, confident woman I’ve always wanted to be.
